Nifty AI Review
Review what an AI agent changed, hunk by hunk: checkpoints before it runs, accept or reject each change, leave comments, and send your feedback back to the agent.
Maintained. No sign-in. No telemetry. Works in VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VSCodium and other editors that use Open VSX.
Features
- Checkpoints before the agent starts. Click Take a Checkpoint in the AI Review view before you let Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor or any other agent loose. The whole folder is saved, including new untracked files, without touching your branch, your staged changes or your stash.
- Every change, hunk by hunk. The Changes to Review view lists each file the agent changed, added or deleted since the checkpoint (or since your last commit), split into hunks. It updates as the agent keeps working. Click a hunk to see it in a side-by-side diff.
- Accept, undo, comment. Mark each change as reviewed, undo one change without losing the others, or leave a comment. You can do this from the view, from the buttons above each change in the editor, or from the ✓, undo and comment buttons at the top of a review diff, which act on the change at the cursor. The status bar shows how many are left.
- Send feedback back. Copy Feedback for the Agent puts a Markdown summary on the clipboard: what you accepted, what you undid, and your comments with file, line and code. Paste it into the agent's chat.
- Nothing hidden. Checkpoints are ordinary git commits kept under
refs/nifty/checkpoints, outside your branches. Delete them any time.

This extension collects no telemetry and needs no account.
