Included extensions

The pack uses the current publishing IDs. It does not install the retired auric-artisan-icons or auric-artisan-svg-icons extensions.

Get started

Requires VS Code 1.85 or newer and access to the extension marketplace.

Install Auric Artisan Icon Pack, or use Extensions: Install from VSIX… with an official pack download.
Allow VS Code to install the four included extensions.
Open an Auric icon-library view or the Emoji Studio from the Activity Bar. You can also search the Command Palette for Auric.
Search for artwork and use the chosen extension's insert or copy actions.

Modern, Drawn and Playful can share a library interface when installed together. Emoji retains its own Studio and commands. The exact interface follows the versions of the included extensions that VS Code installs.

How the pack works

This is a standard VS Code extension pack, not another icon browser. It lists the four extensions for VS Code to install; it does not embed their VSIX files, duplicate their artwork, or add an installer process.

Included extensions have their own versions, settings, licenses and update cycles.
You can manage each extension individually in the Extensions view.
The pack adds no commands, background service, telemetry or workspace edits of its own.
Downloads require marketplace access. A pack VSIX is not an offline bundle of its members.
If a member is unavailable in your selected marketplace or blocked by an organization policy, check its installation status separately.

Auric Artisan Icon Studio and Auric Artisan File Icons are not included in this pack. Icon Studio is the separate all-in-one catalog interface; File Icons controls Explorer file and folder themes.

Troubleshooting

An included extension did not install. Open the pack's Extension Pack section, locate the missing member and check its installation error. Verify marketplace access and your VS Code version.

I use an alternative marketplace. Each member must be published there under the same ID. Installing this pack does not transfer extensions between registries.

I installed local development builds. Confirm that their publisher and extension names match the IDs above. Folder names alone do not identify installed extensions.

License

The pack is covered by the Auric Artisan Free Use Licence. Each included extension and its artwork retain their own shipped license and attribution. Installing the pack does not grant additional artwork redistribution rights.
