File Viewers Pack

Open PDF, Excel, CSV, Parquet, Word, PowerPoint, HDF5, NetCDF and model tensor files inside VS Code. One install adds six read-only viewers. Each one works offline and keeps your files on your machine.

How to use

Install the pack, then click a file in the Explorer. It opens in the matching viewer. To open a file as text, right-click it and choose "Open With...", then "Text Editor".

You can uninstall any single viewer from the pack. The others keep working.
