VS Code GLOSSA (ΓΛΩΣΣΑ)
Language support for GLOSSA (ΓΛΩΣΣΑ), the Greek educational programming language used in secondary education.
📚 About GLOSSA: GLOSSA is taught in Greek high schools as part of the "Development of Applications in Programming Environments" (ΑΕΠΠ) curriculum. The official interpreter is developed by Άλκης Γεωργόπουλος and available at alkisg.mysch.gr.
📦 Installation
From VS Code Marketplace:
- Open VS Code
- Go to Extensions (
Ctrl+Shift+X)
- Search for "Glossa Language Support"
- Click Install

⚙️ Recommended Settings
For the best experience with Greek characters, add these settings to your VS Code settings.json:

This disables Unicode highlighting warnings for Greek characters.
🐛 Known Issues
- Unicode Highlighting Warnings — VS Code may show warnings for Greek characters. Disable Unicode highlighting in settings (see above).
- Font Rendering — Some fonts may not render Greek characters properly. We recommend using fonts with good Greek support (e.g., Consolas, JetBrains Mono, Fira Code).
