Colima provides container runtimes on macOS and Linux with minimal setup. This extension brings Colima's full power into VS Code with a beautiful, intuitive GUI — no more memorizing CLI commands.

Start Wizard with Presets
The start wizard provides 5 one-click presets and a custom configuration form:

Status Bar
Real-time Colima state at the bottom of VS Code:
- Shows active profile name, CPU cores, and memory
- Color-coded: green (running), yellow (broken), red (error)

Attach to VS Code
Right-click a running profile → "Attach to VS Code":
- Extension automatically configures SSH connection
- Opens a new VS Code window connected to the VM
- File explorer shows VM's filesystem (
/home/user.guest)
- Terminal is SSH'd into the VM
- Install extensions directly on the VM
🚀 Quick Start
Install Colima (if you haven't already):
brew install colima
Install this extension from the VS Code Marketplace
Click the Colima icon 🐳 in the Activity Bar (left sidebar)
Click "Start Colima" and choose a preset, or configure custom settings
Run Docker commands — Colima sets up your Docker context automatically!
