Pokémon Lorem Ipsum
A Visual Studio Code extension that generates Pokémon-themed lorem ipsum text. Perfect for placeholder text with a fun twist!
Features
This extension adds three commands to VS Code that allow you to generate Pokémon-themed lorem ipsum text:
- Generate Sentence - Generates a random sentence with Pokémon-themed words
- Generate Paragraph - Generates a paragraph of random sentences with Pokémon words
- Generate Multiple Paragraphs - Generates a specified number of paragraphs of random sentences with Pokémon words
All commands can be accessed via the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux).
Usage
- Open a file in VS Code
- Place your cursor where you want to insert the text
- Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux)
- Type "Pokemon" to filter the commands
- Select one of the Pokémon Lorem Ipsum commands
- For "Generate Words", you'll be prompted to enter the number of words to generate

Generate Sentence
Lorem ipsum Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto.
Generate Paragraph
Lorem ipsum You can earn the Dark Badge at Spikemuth Gym. Charizard learned Flamethrower. Venusaur was found in Route 134. Top Champion traveled from Route 120 to Route 122 via Route 121.
Generate Multiple Paragraphs
Lorem ipsum Depot Agent's favorite Pokémon is Pikachu. Motorcyclist used a Heavy Ball to catch Weedle. Pokémon Breeder's favorite Pokémon is Beedrill. The leader at Pewter Gym specializes in Rock Pokémon. Pokémon Professor traveled from Stow-on-Side to Hammerlocke via Route 6. Arbok learned Leer. Pidgeotto learned Gust. Linebacker spotted Pikachu in Alola.
Lorem ipsum You can earn the Forest Badge at Eterna Gym. Fearow used Mirror Move. Chef used a Safari Ball to catch Pikachu. Ace Duo spotted Charizard in Alola. Weedle used Poison Sting. Cabbie gave a Rindo Berry to Ekans.
Lorem ipsum Arbok used Poison Sting. Spearow used Fury Attack. Charizard learned Fire Spin. Raichu was found in Cyllage City. Squirtle learned Withdraw. Macro Cosmos's used a Friend Ball to catch Butterfree. Café Master's favorite Pokémon is Blastoise. The leader at Fortree Gym specializes in Flying Pokémon. Wartortle evolved into Blastoise.
Compatibility
This extension has been tested to work in both VS Code and Windsurf editors.
