Installation
- Open Extensions sidebar in VS Code (
Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X)
- Search for
No Pixie
- Click Install
- Click Reload to refresh your editor
- Go to
File > Preferences > Color Theme > No Pixie Dark or No Pixie Light
Or install via command line:
code --install-extension no-pixie.nopixie-theme

Icon Themes
The No Pixie theme includes three comprehensive icon themes designed to match each color palette variant. Each icon theme provides consistent, minimal icons for folders and 40+ file types.
Purple Icon Theme
The Purple icon theme matches the original No Pixie purple color palette with elegant purple accents.

Blue Icon Theme
The Blue icon theme features cool blue/cyan tones that complement the Blue theme variants.

Yellow Icon Theme
The Yellow icon theme uses warm yellow/amber colors that pair perfectly with the Yellow theme variants.

Activation
Color Theme
After installation, you can activate the color theme by:
- Press
Ctrl+K Ctrl+T (or Cmd+K Cmd+T on macOS)
- Select one of the available themes:
- No Pixie Dark
- No Pixie Light
- No Pixie Dark High Contrast
- No Pixie Light High Contrast
- No Pixie Blue Dark
- No Pixie Blue Light
- No Pixie Yellow Dark
- No Pixie Yellow Light
Alternatively:
- Open Command Palette (
Ctrl+Shift+P or Cmd+Shift+P)
- Type
Preferences: Color Theme
- Select your preferred No Pixie theme
