3D Preview

Visual Studio Code extension for viewing 3D models with GLB, GLTF and FBX formats.

The 3d Preview extension aims to simplify the 3D workflow within Visual Studio Code. It provides a viewer for 3D models, eliminating the need to open other software like Blender for previewing purposes.

Installation

You can install the 3d Preview extension directly from the VSCode Marketplace.

• View 3D models with GLB, GLTF(only Embedded supported for now) and FBX formats
• Play Animations

Roadmap

• Plans to add support for additional formats like OBJ, STL, etc.
• Add shadows and center the model
