CompAI is a revolutionary Visual Studio Code extension for developers that leverages AI to streamline component creation. It generates UI components effortlessly, automates file and directory creation, redefines efficiency in frontend development.
Installation
Launch VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl+P), paste the following command, and press enter.
Create folders and files for components with ease.
Make Base Components with our favorite stack.
Customizable templates for different types of components.
Context menu integration for quick access.
Installation
Launch Visual Studio Code.
Go to the Extensions view by clicking on the square icon on the left sidebar or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+X.
Search for "compai" in the Extensions view search bar.
Click on the "Install" button for the "compai" extension.
Once installed, click on the "Reload" button to activate the extension.
Remember have updated your visual studio code app.
Configuration
In vscode, in the side menu click on the CompAI icon.
A configuration panel will open, where you can edit the frameworks, languages and stylesheets.
You can also configure your openAI key, currently we only have integration with OpenAI.
You have a configuration panel with your CompAI key in the extension as well as in the web page, with CompAI Key you can see all components created by you.
