📄 Export to PDF
- Export Current File to PDF: Convert the current Markdown file to PDF and save it in the same directory
- Export Folder to PDF: Export all Markdown files from a folder (including subfolders) to PDF with custom output location

- Export Current File to HTML: Convert the current Markdown file to HTML with beautiful styling
- Export Folder to HTML: Export all Markdown files from a folder (including subfolders) to HTML with custom output location
🎨 Mermaid Diagram Support
- Automatically renders Mermaid diagrams in both PDF and HTML exports
- Supports all Mermaid diagram types (flowcharts, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, etc.)
🌍 Translation Features
- Vietnamese ↔ English
- Vietnamese ↔ Japanese
- English ↔ Japanese
- Works with selected text in Markdown files
Requirements
- Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome (required for PDF export)
- Internet connection (for Mermaid rendering in exports)
Usage
Export Commands
Press Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+P (macOS) to open the Command Palette, then:
- MD Editor Pro: Export PDF (Current File) - Export current file to PDF
- MD Editor Pro: Export PDF (Folder) - Export entire folder to PDF
- MD Editor Pro: Export HTML (Current File) - Export current file to HTML
- MD Editor Pro: Export HTML (Folder) - Export entire folder to HTML
Translation Commands
Select text in a Markdown file, then use:
- VN to EN - Translate Vietnamese to English
- EN to VN - Translate English to Vietnamese
- VN to JP - Translate Vietnamese to Japanese
- JP to VN - Translate Japanese to Vietnamese
- EN to JP - Translate English to Japanese
- JP to EN - Translate Japanese to English
Extension Settings
This extension does not currently add any VS Code settings.
Known Issues
- PDF export requires Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome to be installed
- Mermaid diagrams require internet connection for rendering

Working with Markdown
You can author your README using Visual Studio Code. Here are some useful editor keyboard shortcuts:
- Split the editor (
Cmd+\ on macOS or Ctrl+\ on Windows and Linux).
- Toggle preview (
Shift+Cmd+V on macOS or Shift+Ctrl+V on Windows and Linux).
- Press
Ctrl+Space (Windows, Linux, macOS) to see a list of Markdown snippets.
