GitBed: Autonomous Hardware & Embedded DevOps for VS Code

Visual Studio Marketplace Open VSX License

The first autonomous hardware-to-firmware CI/CD engine for VS Code.
Automatically detects schematic netlist changes, flags pin collisions with live editor squiggles, auto-generates multi-file C/C++ & DeviceTree patches, runs Shift-Left QEMU virtual smoke tests, executes physical BedGrid HIL regression tests, and generates IEC 62304 / ISO 26262 compliance reports.

⚡ Key Features

  • Real-Time Pin Collision Linting: Red/yellow editor diagnostics for power rail short-circuits (VCC3SW, PB1) and peripheral conflicts (e.g. UART1 vs I2C SDA).
  • CodeLens One-Click Quick-Actions: Interactive [⚡ Auto-Fix Conflict], [▶ Run QEMU Sim], and [🔬 BedGrid HIL Test] buttons directly above #define *_PIN and DTS nodes.
  • Embedded Sync Studio Webview: Visual 6-step LangGraph state machine orchestrator inside your editor tab.
  • Datasheet & Supply Chain Hover: Instant hover tooltips showing register maps (REG_CONFIG, REG_CURRENT), bus speed, and real-time DigiKey/Mouser stock availability.
  • Time Machine Pin Snapshots: Save, browse, and 1-click rollback historical pin configurations.
  • GitHub Copilot @gitbed Integration: Ask Copilot to analyze pin conflicts or generate drivers using GitBed's Language Model Tools.
