Games

⭕ Tic Tac Toe

The classic two-player game. Take turns placing X and O on a 3×3 grid. First to line up three wins. Scores are tracked across rounds so you can settle the rivalry properly.

🐍 Snake

Guide the snake around the grid, eat the food, and grow as long as you can — without hitting the walls or yourself. Speed increases as your score climbs.

• Arrow keys or WASD to move
• P to pause
• R to restart

🔢 Sudoku

Fill the 9×9 grid so every row, column, and 3×3 box contains the numbers 1–9. Choose your difficulty and race against the clock.

• Easy — great for a quick break
• Medium — needs a bit of thinking
• Hard — for when you really want to waste time

Tap a cell, then type a number or use the on-screen pad. Use pencil mode (✏️) to jot down notes inside cells.

🃏 Memory Match

A grid of face-down cards — flip two at a time to find matching pairs. Clear the board in as few moves as possible. Three grid sizes available: 4×4, 4×6, and 6×6.

How to Open a Game

From the Activity Bar Click the 🎮 icon in the left sidebar → expand a category → click any game.

From the Command Palette Press Cmd+Shift+P and type Play & Waste to see all available commands.

From the Game Hub Run Play & Waste: Open Game Panel to open the hub, then click any game card.

Open VSCode Settings and search Play & Waste to customise:
