👻 Halloween Phantom Pet (fishperson113.halloween-phantom-pet)

An interactive coding companion that brings Halloween spirit to your editor:

• Choose from three spooky pets: Pumpkin, Skeleton, or Ghost
• AI-powered commentary on your code (requires OpenAI-compatible API)
• Animated sprite-based pets with personality
• Configurable commentary frequency and behavior

Installation

Install this extension pack from the VS Code marketplace, and both extensions will be automatically installed.

Alternatively, search for "Kiroween Theme Pack" in the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X).

Getting Started

After installation:

1. Activate the theme: Open Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P) and select "Preferences: Color Theme", then choose "KiroTheme"
2. Enable Halloween icons: Select "Preferences: File Icon Theme" and choose "Kiroween Icons"
3. Set up your pet: Use "Spooky Pets: Set API Key" to configure your OpenAI-compatible API
4. Select your pet: Use "Spooky Pets: Select Pet" to choose between Pumpkin, Skeleton, or Ghost

For Extension Developers

Packaging

To package this extension:

vsce package

This creates a .vsix file that can be installed locally or shared.

Publishing

To publish to the VS Code Marketplace:

vsce publish

Make sure you have:

• A valid publisher account on the VS Code Marketplace
• A Personal Access Token (PAT) configured with vsce
• The publisher ID "fishperson113" matches your marketplace publisher

Requirements

• VS Code version 1.103.0 or higher
• For the Phantom Pet: An OpenAI-compatible API key (optional, for AI commentary feature)
