Spotify VS Code Extension

This extension integrates Spotify controls directly into Visual Studio Code, allowing you to manage your music without leaving your editor.

Features

• Login/Logout to Spotify from within VS Code
• Playback controls: Play/Pause, Next, Previous, and Favorite tracks
• Status bar integration: Control playback from the VS Code status bar
• Sidebar view: Access a dedicated Spotify sidebar for controls and information

Requirements

• Spotify Premium account is required.
  • The Spotify Web API only allows playback control for Premium users. Free accounts are not supported for playback features.

Usage

• Use the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P or Cmd+Shift+P) and search for Spotify commands (e.g., Login to Spotify, Play, Next Track, etc.)
• Use the Spotify sidebar and status bar controls for quick access.

Authentication

• On first use, you will be prompted to log in to your Spotify account and grant permissions.
• You can log out at any time using the provided command.
