Every coding session leaves a trail: files opened, saves made, errors that climbed and fell, languages you moved between. Codeography reads that trail and writes it into a story — a cinematic account of what you actually built, generated by AI.

How it works

Install this extension and reload VS Code.
Get your API key from your dashboard at codeography.dev.
Set it — open the Command Palette (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+P) and run Codeography: Set API Key.
Just code. Codeography works silently in the background. When a session ends, your story appears on your dashboard automatically.

What it tracks

File names and programming languages
Number of saves, errors, and git commits
Session duration and timing

What it never does

Never reads your source code. Only the shape of the session — never its contents.
Never logs keystrokes, clipboard, or anything you type.
Never tracks you outside your editor.
