Getting Started
- Install the extension
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on Mac)
- Type "TypeRush: Start" and press Enter
- Sign in with your GitHub account
- Choose Solo Practice or Ranked Match!
Game Modes
Solo Practice
- 60 seconds to type as many words as possible
- Track your WPM (Words Per Minute) and accuracy
- Beat your personal best!
Ranked Match
- Get matched with players of similar skill
- Race head-to-head in real-time
- Gain or lose ELO rating based on results
Controls
- Type the words as they appear
- Green = correctly typed
- Red = incorrectly typed (fix with Backspace)
- Space moves to the next word
Requirements
- VS Code 1.85.0 or higher
- Internet connection (for multiplayer and authentication)
