What is this?
A mini app is a small app that runs inside a bigger "Super App" people already have on their phone. Neux mini apps are written in nx.* JavaScript, NXML templates and NXSS styles.
Without help, Claude guesses: it writes WeChat or uni-app code that looks right and does not run here. This extension installs skills that teach Claude the real Neux platform: what each API does on Android, iOS, Harmony and web preview, which settings silently do nothing, and what only the Super App can provide.
- Not a developer? Tell Claude about your business. It creates the app, builds it, shows you a preview and explains the result in plain words. It does not hand you code to paste.
- Developer? You get correct
nx.* code, copy-ready templates, checker scripts and cited doc pages, kept short.

Every template runs on sample data first. One switch in config.js connects it to a real server later.

- Restart Claude Code. It finds new skills when it starts.

- Install or remove one skill or all of them. Click a skill to read its full guidance first.
- Overwriting asks first, in case you edited an installed skill.
- Keep
neux-docs installed. Every other skill reads the documentation inside it. Install all includes it, installing a single skill from the sidebar adds it when it is missing, and the extension will not remove it while other skills are still installed.

"This project" is the default when a folder is open.
Remote development: under Remote SSH, WSL, Dev Containers or Codespaces, skills install on the remote machine, where Claude Code runs. The panel shows which machine it writes to.

What needs a real phone or the Super App
The browser preview (neux dev) is good for layout and flow. It cannot prove everything:
- Sign-in, payment and sharing come from the Super App, not from your mini app. They only work for real inside a Super App build that supports them, and a success result can mean "request accepted" rather than "done". The skills write the exact questions to ask the Super App team.
- Camera, scanning, Bluetooth, location, contacts and permissions need a real phone. Some behave differently on Harmony or are missing in web preview;
neux-feature-check tells you which.
- Allowed server domains are enforced on the phone, not in the browser.
- Publishing needs your app ID and a CLI key from the platform.
The skills say at each step what you can check in preview and what must be tested on a phone.
FAQ
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe your business and what customers should be able to do. neux-start-here asks a few questions at a time, picks sensible defaults, keeps a plain-language project brief and hands the work to the right skill. Claude does the building and tells you what it did. You will need a computer with Node.js 20 or later for the neux preview and build tools; Claude can help set it up.
Which skill do I call?
Usually none. Each skill describes when it applies and Claude loads the matching one. If you are unsure where to begin, say "start here" or use /neux-start-here.
Does it work offline?
The skills, templates, scripts and the 310-page docs are local files, so looking things up, building the app and running the checkers work without internet. Claude itself needs a connection, and so do uploading, submitting for review and installing npm packages.
How do I update?
VS Code updates the extension. Installed skills are copies, so after an update open the Skills Panel and click Install all again; it asks before overwriting.
