The flagship dark variant. Sharp contrast, warm dark surfaces, and a clear semantic system built for long focus sessions.

Content fades. Connections remain. Ghost suppresses most syntax and lets entity-level structure carry the page, with [[wikilinks]] acting as the primary bright signal.

These themes are designed around how Yamlink actually works:

Yamlink surface	Theme intent
`[[wikilinks]]` and backlinks	Treated as navigation anchors, not passive punctuation
Frontmatter keys and values	Separated by semantic role so structure reads quickly
`id`, `type`, `date`, `tags`, status fields	Given stable visual meaning across the family
`!view` blocks and queries	Styled as their own layer, distinct from prose
Tags and chips	Tuned as Yamlink-owned UI elements, not generic Markdown noise

The family is not just “good for Markdown.” It is specifically tuned to make Yamlink notes easier to parse, scan, and navigate.

Installation

From the VS Code Marketplace

Open VS Code.
Open Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X).
Search for Yamlink Theme Family.
Install.
Open Preferences: Color Theme.
Select Yamlink Night, Yamlink Ghost, Yamlink Dawn, or Yamlink Daywalker.

0.0.1 is a public alpha.

The family is usable now, but still actively evolving through real Yamlink workflows, visual QA, and theme-system refinement.
