Drag a file into the sidebar, share the active editor, choose a file, or use the Explorer context menu. SoloDrop builds the preview and copies the public link to your clipboard.

SoloDrop checks common credential and secret patterns before publishing. You always see the exact filename and size before upload unless you choose to disable confirmation.

A successful deployment is not enough. SoloDrop opens the published URL over HTTP first and only then copies the public preview link.

Guest shares expire after 1 day. Signed-in users can choose 1, 7 or 30 days, or keep a share until they delete it. Web shares can also hide the original-file download action and add a custom text watermark. Watermarks and hidden downloads guide normal recipient behavior; they are not presented as DRM.

未登录分享固定为 1 天有效期。登录用户可选择 1 天、7 天、30 天，或长期保留直到主动删除。网页分享还可以隐藏原文件下载入口、添加自定义文字水印。水印与隐藏下载用于约束常规接收行为，不会被宣传成 DRM。

SoloDrop creates and verifies a compact drop.szlk.ai link after the preview is online. If the short-link service is temporarily unavailable, sharing still completes with the verified original preview URL.

SoloDrop adds one consistent, unobtrusive product action after the artifact. It is designed and managed by SoloDrop, requires no setup from the person sharing, and never blocks the content. Recent shares also show basic visit counts.

The website and VS Code extension use the same managed sharing service. Guest shares last 1 day; signed-in website users can choose additional lifetimes. Before sharing, you can also add an optional text watermark and decide whether to show the original-file download action.

• Public link and ownership link stay separate. A sensitive claim URL is never copied as the link you send to others.

• Recent previews stay useful across devices. Share metadata follows VS Code Settings Sync, while local source paths remain on the device where they belong.

• Expired temporary previews can be shared again. SoloDrop reuses the local source when available, or asks you to choose it again on another device.
