Use Maple Font for a better experience. And active ligatures in the settings.

Install

Press Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P), select Extensions: Install Extensions, search for Ramiro L Dark Theme.

Activate

Press Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P), select Preferences: Color Theme, select RL Theme.
