Overview

Lorem Alan is a fun and quirky VS Code extension that generates Lorem Ipsum text inspired by the iconic Alan Partridge. Perfect for adding a touch of humor and uniqueness to your placeholder text.

Features

• Generates a single random Alan Partridge quote as placeholder text.
• Easy to use and integrates seamlessly into VS Code.

Installation

• Open VS Code.
• Go to Extensions: You can open the Extensions view by clicking the Extensions icon in the Activity Bar on the side of the window or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+X (or Cmd+Shift+X on macOS). Search for "Alan Partridge Lorem Ipsum" in the Extensions marketplace.
• Click "Install" to add the extension to your VS Code setup.
• Alternatively, you can install the extension directly from the VS Code marketplace.

Usage

• Wherever you need some Alan, hit Ctrl+Shift+Alt+A (or Ctrl+Shift+Option+A on macOS) to insert placeholder text.
• Alternatively, open the Command Palette by pressing Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on macOS), type "Generate Lorem Alan Text" and select it from the list.
• A random Alan Partridge quote will be inserted at the current cursor position or replace the selected text.

Configuration

Currently, the extension does not require any configuration. Simply install and use!
