A fresh and relaxing theme for Visual Studio Code with a lot of language- and framework optimizations to provide a unified and accessible developer experience.
The Gotthard (Italian: Gottardo, German: Gotthard) at 2,106 m (6,909 ft) is a mountain pass in the Alps traversing the Saint-Gotthard Massif and connecting northern and southern Switzerland.
Color Blind Friendly
The theme colors have been choosen to be color-blind friendly through all different theme variants.
Dark: default dark theme, best to get started with
Medium Dark: a slightly lighter version of the dark theme
Light: default light theme, try it if you want some variation during the day
Coming soon – Dark (High Contrast): same basis as the dark theme but with a higher contrast

The theme is built to apply basic syntax highlighting to the most languages. Although a few languages are optimized to provide a unified development experience. Find the list with all optimized languages sorted alphabetically below.
