기능
- 위치 바꾸기: AI를 가운데 또는 오른쪽으로 옮깁니다.
- 코드 켜기/끄기: 코드를 숨겨 AI를 넓게 씁니다. 파일과 터미널은 그대로입니다.
- 하단 패널 위치: 터미널을 코드 아래, AI 아래, 전체 아래 중에서 고릅니다.
위치와 크기는 창마다 기억합니다.
시작하기
- 설치하면 자동으로 준비됩니다. (VS Code 본체 파일을 백업한 뒤 수정합니다.)
- 완료 알림에서 다시 시작을 누릅니다. Reload Window로는 적용되지 않습니다.
- AI 뷰 제목 옆 버튼으로 배치를 바꿉니다. 버튼이 없으면 명령 팔레트에서 VLControl을 검색하세요.
업데이트
VS Code나 확장이 업데이트되면 자동으로 다시 준비합니다. 완료 알림에서 다시 시작만 누르면 됩니다.
목록에 없는 새 VS Code 버전도 자동으로 준비하고, 상태 표시줄에 미검증으로 표시합니다.
끄기·복구
- 잠시 끄기: 확장을 Disable하고 다시 시작합니다.
- 원래대로: Restore Original Files 실행 후 모든 창을 닫았다 엽니다.
- 자동 준비 끄기: 설정에서
aiCenterLayout.autoPrepare를 끕니다.
- 문제가 있으면 VLControl: Show Diagnostics로 상태를 확인하세요.
Windows x64 안정판(UserSetup·ZIP)만 지원합니다. 외부 통신이나 데이터 수집은 없습니다. 문의는 Marketplace Q & A에 남겨 주세요.

Features
- Switch positions: move AI to the center or right.
- Show/hide editor: hide the editor to give AI more room. Files and terminals stay open.
- Bottom panel placement: put the terminal below the editor, below AI, or across both.
Positions and sizes are remembered per window.
Getting started
- Setup runs automatically after install. (It backs up and modifies a VS Code file.)
- Select 다시 시작 (Restart) in the notification. Reload Window is not enough.
- Use the buttons next to the AI view title. If you don't see them, search VLControl in the Command Palette.
Updates
After VS Code or the extension updates, setup runs again automatically. Just select 다시 시작 (Restart).
New VS Code versions not yet on the list are also set up automatically and shown as 미검증 (unverified) in the status bar.
Disable and restore
- Disable: disable the extension and restart.
- Restore: run Restore Original Files, then close and reopen every window.
- Turn off auto setup: turn off
aiCenterLayout.autoPrepare in Settings.
- Use VLControl: Show Diagnostics to troubleshoot.
