VSCode Error GPT is an extension that allows you to quickly copy error messages and file content, format them into an AI-friendly prompt for easy debugging with ChatGPT or other AI assistants.

Usage

1. Open a file with errors in VS Code
2. Right-click and select "Copy Errors/Content and Create AI Prompt" from the context menu

Requirements

• Visual Studio Code version 1.93.0 or higher

Extension Settings

This extension contributes the following settings:

• vscode-error-gpt.maxErrorsToCopy: Maximum number of errors to include in the prompt (default: 5)
• vscode-error-gpt.includeFileContent: Whether to include full file content in the prompt (default: true)
