Quick Explorer File Size lets you browse your workspace while knowing exactly how big each file is, without leaving VS Code.

📦 Requirements

  • VS Code 1.80.0 or newer.
  • A workspace folder must be open to view file sizes.

🛠️ Usage

  1. Open a folder in VS Code.
  2. Click on the Quick Explorer File Size view in the sidebar.
  3. Browse your files and folders with sizes displayed instantly.

⚠️ Known Issues

  • Very large directories may take a few seconds to load.
  • Hidden or system files may not always appear depending on OS permissions.
