Compatibility

• VS Code: Version 1.94.0 or later.
• Cursor: Fully compatible with the latest versions.

Before installing, please ensure your editor is up-to-date to guarantee the best experience. If the extension fails to activate, verify your editor version via Help → About (Windows/Linux) or Code → About (macOS).

Installation

You can install Stela using one of two methods for your preferred editor: from the marketplace website or directly within the editor itself. | Editor | Method 1: Install from Marketplace / VSIX | Method 2: In-Editor Search | | :------------------- | :------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | :--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Visual Studio Code | 1. Go to the VS Code Marketplace.
2. Click the Install button and follow the browser prompts. | 1. Open Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X).
2. Search for "AmoYou.stela".
3. Click Install. | | Cursor | 1. Go to the Open VSX Registry.
2. Click the Download button to get the .vsix file.
3. In Cursor, open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P or Cmd+Shift+P).
4. Select Extensions: Install from VSIX... and choose the downloaded file. | 1. Open Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X).
2. Search for "AmoYou.stela".
3. Click Install. |

Quick Start

1. Open Stela
   • Click the Stela icon in the Activity Bar, or
   • Open the Command Palette (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+P) and run "Show Stela".
2. Chat or Use Inline
   • Start a conversation in the chat panel.
   • Enable inline completions for real-time assistance as you type.
