:coffee: Koffee Kreme

An elegant and cozy "coffee" styled theme for VSCode.

About The Project

This theme was developed to fit my want/need for a "coffee" styled theme that is not REALLY dark or bright like most themes are. I consider this a hybrid theme, as it contains dark and light (but not bright) color theory. Please feel free to download it and let me know what you think or if you have any particular issues with it. I'm always open to constructive criticism and will always welcome new ideas.

How To Install

You have a few options on how to install a theme. I will list the most common methods below.

1. (OPTION 1) Launch VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl+P), paste the following command, and press enter. ext install AchroDev.koffee-kreme

2. (OPTION 2) Launch Terminal in VS Code (Ctrl+Shift+`), paste the following command, and press enter. ext install AchroDev.koffee-kreme

3. Inside VS Code, use the shortcut ctrl+k+t and select "Koffee Kreme" from the list.

(OPTION 3) If you are using a third-party VS Code client such as VS Codium and do not want/have the marketplace enabled you will need to download the (VSIX) extension file from the "Resources" area on the right-side of the marketplace page VS Code Marketplace here and follow the instructions below.

1. Open CMD if you are on Windows (or your preferred shell/terminal for Mac/Linux) and navigate to where you downloaded the extension file ex.~/Downloads.
2. Enter the following command (Change the x.x.x to the current version number) codium --install-extension AchroDev.koffee-kreme-x.x.x.vsix
3. Inside VSCodium use the shortcut ctrl+k+t and select "Koffee Kreme" from the list.

Recommendations

• To achieve a nicer overall look, I recommend downloading the "Developer's Theme" from Rajeshwaren and setting the "File Icon" theme and the "Product Icon" theme. This is shown in the last screenshot above.

I may have created this in Theme Studio, but please try to remember that I did not throw this together. This project took around 7-8 hours of time, carefully picking colors and testing them. I do plan on releasing other variants that will update with the theme and I personally use the theme so stay tuned!
