ZeroIndex is an intelligent companion for Visual Studio Code that generates instant, readable AI explanations for code declarations, classes, methods, and functions on hover.

Features

🚀 Quick Start

1. Configure your AI

Open the command palette (Cmd+Shift+P on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows) and run: ZeroIndex: Open Settings Dashboard

Select your provider (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Ollama) and enter your API key.

2. Hover to learn

Hover over any class, method, or function in your code editor. ZeroIndex will show a clear, instant explanation of what it does.

3. Browse history & export

Click the ZeroIndex sidebar tab to view your exploration history, bookmark key files, or export your learning log as Markdown.
