Hello Pink Test

For PinK only. This extension does not run in stock Visual Studio Code.

A small sample generated with @cocos/generator-pink to test VSIX packaging and the PinK public extension API.

Requirements

  • PinK 0.0.1.39 or later, with a VS Code 1.127.0 compatible extension API.
  • The pink runtime module supplied by PinK. Stock VS Code does not supply this module.

Usage

  1. Install the extension in PinK.
  2. Open the Command Palette.
  3. Run Pink: Hello Pink (Marketplace Test).

The command calls pink.engine.getInfo() and displays a greeting that indicates whether an engine is loaded. When no Cocos project is loaded, the command still displays a greeting and explains how to query engine information.

Packaging

Install development dependencies with npm install. Use the official @vscode/vsce tool and run vsce package --allow-missing-repository. The prepublish hook performs type checking, linting, and an esbuild production build.

Data and permissions

The sample does not send network requests or write workspace files. It reads the current PinK engine state only when the command is invoked.
