Quick Start
- Open a Git repository with local changes.
- Configure a provider in VS Code settings.
- Run
Commit AI: Set API Key for cloud providers.
- Click the flower icon in Source Control, or run
Commit AI: Generate Commit Message.
- Review the generated message and commit.
Whitespace-only changes are detected locally and do not call an AI provider.

commitAI.language: zh-CN, en-US, or bilingual

The default style is emojiConventional, which uses:
<type>(<scope>): <emoji> <subject>

Development

Open this folder in VS Code and press F5 to launch the Extension Development Host.
Notes
The stable release uses the Source Control title bar button. VS Code's Source Control input-box inline menu currently requires a proposed API and is not enabled in the packaged release.
