Favorite Folder

A Visual Studio Code extension that helps you manage and quickly access your frequently used folders and workspaces.

Features

This extension provides the following features:

  • Bookmark your favorite folders for quick access
  • Create custom labels for your bookmarked folders
  • Access your favorite folders directly from the explorer sidebar
  • Quick commands to open favorite folders in new windows
  • Easy drag-and-drop organization of your folder list

Requirements

  • Visual Studio Code version 1.60.0 or higher

Extension Settings

This extension contributes the following settings:

  • favoriteFolder.maxEntries: Maximum number of folders to keep in favorites
  • favoriteFolder.showInExplorer: Show/hide favorite folders in explorer sidebar
  • favoriteFolder.sortBy: Sort folders by 'name', 'dateAdded', or 'custom'

Known Issues

  • Custom labels might reset when VS Code is updated
  • Sorting order may not persist in some cases
