Prerequisites

DataSphere Jobs Toolkit uses Yandex Cloud DataSphere resources to run jobs with the user workload. This means you will need a valid Yandex Cloud account and a DataSphere project. If you do not have either or both, you may easily create them. See Getting started with DataSphere for details.

Authorization

DataSphere Jobs Toolkit supports both OAuth token and Yandex Cloud command line interface to authorize in Yandex Cloud DataSphere. In the latter case, you will have to setup the CLI yourself in case you do not have it installed.

Dependencies

DataSphere Jobs Toolkit uses DataSphere CLI to analyze the environment and discover dependencies. It will be pip-installed automatically in the current virtual environment on the first run of any job.

Getting Started

  1. Open DataSphere Jobs Toolkit.
  2. Set the DataSphere project identifier either in the Settings section or by clicking Open Project on the DataSphere Jobs side panel.
  3. In case you have a valid Yandex Cloud OAuth token, you can also provide it in Settings.
  4. To run the Python file, just open it in the editor or select it in Explorer, right-click it, and select Run Python file DataSphere Job.
  5. Fine-tune the job run settings in the DataSphere Job Configuration window. Click Invoke to run the job immediately or Save to create a new launch configuration in the launch.json file.
