NPM Runner

A simple VS Code extension that adds a status bar button to run npm scripts like dev or start.

Features

• Click the status bar to toggle npm run <script>
• Automatically picks dev, start, or the first script
• Change default script with Ctrl+Alt+W
• Works with subfolders and nested package.json

Usage

1. Open a folder with package.json
2. Click the status bar button to run or stop the script
3. Press Ctrl+Alt+W to change the default script
