Design the PDFs of your .NET project without leaving the editor.
Right-click a folder → "New XtudioPdf document…": asks for the name and size and creates
Name.pdfx (the template), its sample data, the DTO and the report class in that folder.
Open a .pdfx: the visual designer opens in the tab. What you save there is written to the file;
the { } button in the tab bar opens it as JSON.
Grouped files: in the explorer, the .sample.json, Dto.cs and Report.cs files appear nested under the .pdfx.
From code you use the report like any other class:
The XtudioPdf.AspNetCore (or XtudioPdf.Core) package in the project.
The .NET SDK (8 or later). The extension installs the xtudiopdf tool by itself the first time you open a
.pdfx and keeps it up to date.
Language
The designer, the extension messages and the xtudiopdf tool use the language you pick in the designer
(EN / ES, English by default). The VS Code menus follow the VS Code display language.
