Cursor Mobile Bridge
A Cursor extension that exposes a local HTTP server and Web UI, letting you control Cursor Composer from your phone.

Features
Basic: free to use.
- Mobile Web UI — Dark-themed, touch-friendly single-page interface at
http://<your-ip>:9789
- Real-time updates — SSE push when Cursor writes new data; the mobile UI refreshes automatically. Message area scrolls to bottom only when there are new messages or when switching sessions.
- Session reading — Lists all Composer sessions and full message history from Cursor's SQLite database (
state.vscdb). Session titles use Cursor's chat history title when available, otherwise the latest user message. When originalFileStates has file URIs, the last 3 directory levels are shown as project path in the session list.
- Project files — Browse workspace files and insert
@file references into the input
- Screenshot — Capture the Cursor window and view it in a new tab
- Text injection — Sends text into the Composer input and auto-submits
- New session — Tap + in the header to create a new session; type the first message and send; the new session loads automatically
- Project/session switching — Activate a non-active project or session from the mobile UI; activation state updates optimistically
- Interactive controls — Keep (or Build in Plan mode when a plan is ready), Undo, Stop generation; click the mode badge to cycle Agent/Plan/Debug/Ask
- Remote access — When licensed, Cloudflare Quick Tunnel is used automatically for remote access
Supported Editors
Cursor for now. Built with Cursor 2.6.19 on macOS 26.3.1. Support for other IDEs is in progress.
Requirements:
- macOS — Enable Cursor in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Screenshot needs Screen Recording permission.
- Windows — Uses PowerShell for keyboard simulation. No extra permissions.
Installation
From Cursor
- open Extensions (activity bar or View → Extensions, or
Cmd+Shift+X / Ctrl+Shift+X).
- In the search box, type Cursor Mobile Bridge.
- Select Cursor Mobile Bridge in the results and click Install.
- Reload if prompted — the bridge server starts automatically when Cursor finishes loading.
From VSIX
- Download the
cursor-mobile-bridge-1.4.0.vsix
- In Cursor:
Extensions → ⋯ → Install from VSIX… → select the file
- Reload Cursor — the server starts automatically
Usage
After installation the status bar shows ⊛ Cursor Mobile Bridge. Click it then click Connect to get the URLs.
To enable advanced features, enter a monthly license key via the License button in the notification or run the command Cursor Mobile Bridge: Enter License Key via the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P).

Privacy
the extension will sends the following to our license server (https://www.yxpai.com/cursor-mobile-bridge):
- License key — to validate your subscription
- Device identifier — an MD5 hash of the machine ID for device binding (one license per device)
- Timestamp — for request validation
Data is sent only to our license server and is retained for the duration of your license.
