What in the unholy fuck is this process

I have successfully wasted 2 god damn hours setting up accounts, getting access tokens, for what? Just to change a few colors on my god damn vscode theme. This has been a remarkable journey, and one I won't soon forget. I've lost about 3 million brain cells trying to figure out why microsoft thinks that any of this was even remotely necessary in order to install a theme for my code editor. I think my brain is actually fucking melting.
