Browse and inspect Redis databases from VSCode. Inspired by Redis Insight and pg-explorer-vsce.
Features
Connection Manager — Add, edit, delete Redis connections (host/port, password, DB index, TLS).
Each connection can be color-coded for visual grouping, with inline Test / Edit / Delete
actions on hover.
Tree Browser — Sidebar tree: Connection → Databases → Database → Keys.
All 16 databases (db0–db15) are shown with key counts.
Key Scanning — Expand a database's Keys group to scan keys using non-blocking SCAN.
Keys are displayed with their type, TTL, and memory size. Up to 500 keys shown by default.
Type-Aware Value Rendering — Click any key to view its value with type-specific display:
string → full text or syntax-highlighted JSON
hash → field-value grid
list → numbered list items
set → sorted member list
zset → score-member table
stream → ID-entry table
Detail Sidebar — Click a key value to inspect it in the right sidebar with syntax highlighting.
Key Filter — In a keys view, click Filter to narrow by key pattern using glob
(e.g. user:*) or regex, plus case-sensitive variants.
Database Info — View server info: version, memory usage, connected clients, keyspace stats.
License System — Free tier supports up to 5 connections. Pro license unlocks unlimited
connections, regex key search, CSV/JSON export, and more.

Press F5 in VSCode to launch an Extension Development Host with the extension loaded.
Architecture
Built following the same architecture as pg-explorer-vsce and nats-explorer-vsce:
Extension Host — TypeScript, bundled with esbuild. Manages connections, tree, and webview state.
Connection Store — Connections in globalState, passwords in SecretStorage (OS keychain).
Redis Manager — ioredis connection pool with SCAN-based key scanning and type-aware value reads.
Tree Provider — VSCode TreeDataProvider for the sidebar (Connection → Databases → Keys).
Data Panel — Bottom panel webview with tabs, data table, and detail sidebar.
License Module — RSA-SHA256 license verification, Sublime-style nag controller.
