Pixel Theme Pack

License: MIT Themes Icons VS%20Code

Pixel Theme Pack is a VS Code extension pack with multiple pixel-inspired color themes and a matching pixel file icon theme.

It is designed for people who want their editor to feel closer to retro handhelds, CRT arcades, and cartridge-era UI instead of a generic modern dark theme.

Features

  • Multiple pixel-style color themes with distinct retro moods
  • One matching file icon theme: Pixel Quest Icons
  • Tuned syntax colors for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSX, TSX, JSON, and common web project files
  • Folder and file icons for source code, assets, config, tests, backend folders, shell scripts, images, env files, lockfiles, PHP, Python, database files, and more

Included themes

  • Pixel Night Arcade: bright CRT arcade palette with bold cyan, yellow, pink, and lime
  • Pixel Handheld Moss: monochrome handheld-inspired palette with olive and phosphor green tones
  • Pixel Game Boy Color: handheld color palette with lime phosphor, teal LCD glow, and purple-blue cartridge accents
  • Pixel Famicom Punch: high-energy red, cream, cyan, and yellow palette inspired by retro console box art
  • Pixel Sunrise Cart: light pixel palette with warm paper tones, orange cartridge accents, and blue sprite highlights
