Pixel Theme Pack

Pixel Theme Pack is a VS Code extension pack with multiple pixel-inspired color themes and a matching pixel file icon theme.

It is designed for people who want their editor to feel closer to retro handhelds, CRT arcades, and cartridge-era UI instead of a generic modern dark theme.

• Pixel Game Boy Color: handheld color palette with lime phosphor, teal LCD glow, and purple-blue cartridge accents
• Pixel Famicom Punch: high-energy red, cream, cyan, and yellow palette inspired by retro console box art
• Pixel Sunrise Cart: light pixel palette with warm paper tones, orange cartridge accents, and blue sprite highlights

Project structure

Run locally

1. Open this folder in VS Code
2. Press F5
3. In the Extension Development Host window, open Preferences: Color Theme
4. Choose one of the Pixel ... themes
5. Open Preferences: File Icon Theme
6. Choose Pixel Quest Icons

• Web: js, jsx, ts, tsx, html, css, scss, less, sass, vue, json, md, mdx
• Backend and scripting: php, py, sh, bash, zsh, ps1, bat, cmd, sql, prisma
• Assets: svg, png, jpg, jpeg, gif, webp, ico, bmp, psd
