Synapse Code

This extension allows Visual Studio Code to execute scripts through Synapse X.

Features

Execute and Attach buttons are present on the Status Bar.

Right clicking on a .lua or .txt file will give the option to execute the file.

Tip: Pressing Execute will automatically attach if not already.

Requirements

If you haven't already, you must turn on the websocket feature of Synapse X.

In order to enable websocket functionality, you must do the following:

• Open your Synapse X directory.

  

• Navigate inside your bin folder and scroll down until you find theme-wpf.json.

  

• Right click on theme-wpf.json and press Open with...

  

• Press Notepad and click Just once.

  

• Press CTRL + F, enter WebSocket, and press Enter.

  

• Change Enabled from falseto true.

  

• Press CTRL + S to save.

After this you are able to close everything and restart synapse. This extension should work after you follow those steps.
