Urpeverse — coding status on your avatar

While you work in VS Code, Cursor or Windsurf, your avatar in Urpeverse shows your team ⌨️ coding, with the repo and the branch. If a coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) is also working for you, the agent's status shows on top.

What leaves your computer

Only three things: that you're coding, the name of the repo folder and the branch. Never your code, file names, full paths or your email.

It's only sent while the editor window is active (you typed or clicked in it in the last minute or so), every 2 minutes. When you leave the editor, the status fades out on its own within a few minutes. Pausing, removing the token or closing the window clears it right away.

Setup

1. In Urpeverse, go to Settings → Integrations → Create token and copy it (it's shown only once).
2. In the editor, run Urpeverse: Set up token from the Command Palette and paste it. It's stored in your system keychain (SecretStorage) and never synced.

The Urpeverse item in the status bar shows whether this window is sharing. Click it to pause or resume, replace or remove the token, or see the log.

To keep one project private, turn off urpeverse.compartirCodeando in that workspace's settings.

Requirements

VS Code 1.89 or later (or Cursor / Windsurf). The branch comes from the built-in Git extension; without Git the status is shown without a branch.

Mientras trabajas en VS Code, Cursor o Windsurf, tu avatar en Urpeverse le muestra a tu equipo ⌨️ codeando, con el repo y la rama. Si además un agente (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) está trabajando para ti, se ve lo del agente.

Qué sale de tu computadora: que estás codeando, el nombre de la carpeta del repo y la rama. Nunca tu código, nombres de archivos, rutas completas ni tu email. Solo mientras la ventana del editor está activa, cada 2 minutos.

Configuración: en Urpeverse, Ajustes → Integraciones → Crear token; en el editor, Urpeverse: Configurar token desde la paleta de comandos. El ítem Urpeverse de la barra de estado permite pausar, cambiar o borrar el token.
