Trackaboo reads the chat transcripts your AI tools already keep on this machine, turns them into counts (jobs, tokens, code that stayed, habits — never words), and shows them on your Trackaboo dashboard.

Any tool you don't have installed is just skipped — nothing to configure.

Your prompts never leave this machine

Trackaboo reads transcripts in "look, don't touch" mode — it never edits or deletes them. It turns what it reads into numbers only: counts, durations, token totals. Your prompts, your code and your files are never read out of this machine, not even to Trackaboo's own servers.

Nothing is sent anywhere until you sign in, and only to the dashboard you signed in to.

Open the Command Palette (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+P).
Run Trackaboo: Sign In.
A browser tab opens on your dashboard — click Allow.

That's it. Your counts start showing up on your dashboard. Run Trackaboo: Sign Out any time to stop — your past numbers stay put, nothing new is sent.

The status bar also shows a running count, and whether you're signed in.

Settings

Everything has a sensible default — most people never open this. A few you might change:
