Usage

1. Execute Copy name of current branch command from Command Palette
2. Execute Paste name of current branch command from Command Palette (ctrl+alt+cmd+v)
3. ???
4. PROFIT

Alternatively you can assign a keyboard shortcut to command copy-paste-git-branch.copyBranchName pr copy-paste-git-branch.pasteBranchName
