Lens2 VS Code Extension

Lens2 VS Code Extension is a powerful tool designed to facilitate the creation of Lens2 YAML files directly within Visual Studio Code. With this extension, users can streamline their YAML editing experience, making it easier to work with Lens2 configurations.

Installation

1. Open Visual Studio Code.
2. Navigate to the Extensions view by clicking on the 3. square icon in the sidebar or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+X.
3. Search for "Lens2" in the Extensions view search box.
4. Click on the "Install" button for the Lens2 VS Code Extension.
5. Optionally, ensure that the Red Hat YAML extension is also installed.

Commands

Type the following commands to quickly generate Lens2 tables, views, dimensions, measures, joins, preaggregations and segments:

• lens2_tables
• lens2_views
• lens2_measure
• lens2_dimension

Node - typing lens2 will suggest all commands.
