Requirements

• Visual Studio Code 1.23.0 or higher

Installation

1. Download the latest vsix file (e.g., codepool-1.0.15.vsix)
2. Open Extensions marketplace in VS Code (Ctrl+Shift+X)
3. Click the "..." in the top-right corner of the Extensions sidebar, select "Install from VSIX"
4. Or directly drag the vsix file to VS Code's Extensions sidebar

Usage

1. Click the Account Pool icon in the VS Code status bar at the bottom
2. Enter activation code
3. Click Login
4. Click "Get New Account" to switch accounts

Troubleshooting

What to do when getting "free user account exceeded" error

1. Click the Account Pool icon in the VS Code status bar at the bottom
2. Click "Refresh Device ID"

Special Instructions for Linux Systems

If you are using a Linux system, you need to modify file permissions first:

sudo chown $(whoami) /usr/share/windsurf/resources/app/extensions/windsurf/dist/extension.js
