Tidbit is a powerful search engine that enables you to write code faster. It provides a comprehensive, easy-to-search documentation tool for all your favorite programming languages, together with a dynamic snippet engine.
How it works
Open the VS Code command palette with ⇧⌘P and type tidbit + Enter to open the Tidbit search box.
Start typing a term to search for.
Tidbit will show you the best code results for the term, together with a description of each.
You can always modify your search to refine the results.
Once you've found what you were looking for, select the item from the list to use it as a snippet in your active editor window.
Supported languages
For now, Tidbit only supports a limited set of JavaScript, but we're working hard to bring you more languages and better coverage!
