EU4 Code Syntax Highlighting

Features

Rich syntax highlighting and code folding that is based on Regex and known, hardcoded (as of 1.31.3) high-level scopes.

Works with any EU4 .txt file coding system. Colors are determined by the VSCode theme that is in use.

How To Use

• Install the extension

• Open an EU4 .txt code file, go to lower, right corner of the VSCode window, and select the "Language". By default, VSCode opens .txt files as "Plain Text":

• Then, in the language selecting dropdown, select "EUIV Code"

Requirements

PowerShell Core (pwsh) must be installed in order to utilize the automated workspace tasks.

No configurable settings at this time.
