Synopsys Coverity.conf Extension

The Synopsys® Coverity.conf extension helps users edit the coverity.conf files, which are used by the Coverity™ (SAST) tool.

It works out of the box without the need for any further configuration and enables the editor to correctly display the configuration files through syntax highlighting and validation. By utilizing the VS Code IntelliSense® smart editing feature, the extension is also able to provide automatic suggestions and code completion for configuration fields.

By default, the suggested configuration fields shown do not include checker descriptions. Access to these can be unlocked in the extension's settings (Command Palette > Synopsys Coverity.conf) by providing a URL that points to a valid Coverity Connect server.
