Portuguese - Code Spell Checker

Portuguese dictionary extension for VS Code.

Imports the Portuguese spell checking dictionary for Code Spell Checker.

Installation

After this extension is installed, it is necessary to tell the spell checker to use it.

Run these commands with F1 or View -> Command Palette...:

Enable Portuguese Spell Checker Dictionary
Disable Portuguese Spell Checker Dictionary
Enable Portuguese Spell Checker Dictionary in Workspace
Disable Portuguese Spell Checker Dictionary in Workspace

This is done with the language setting.

Preferences -> Settings

Adding pt-PT to the cSpell.language setting, will enable the Portuguese dictionary. Example using both English and Portuguese dictionaries:

"cSpell.language": "en,pt-PT",

The dictionaries this extension adds, and the locales in cSpell.language that turn each one on:

This extension will automatically include the Code Spell Checker extension.
