stampiz-code README

The extension stampiz-code allows you to attribute a certain date to the file you are editing on Visual Studio Code by calculating the digital fingerprint or hash of the digital content, followed by a transaction on the Polygon blockchain that includes the aforementioned hash.

This extension don't require registration or login.

After a variable waiting time, which can last from 10 seconds to a few minutes, you receive the outcome of the transaction on a separate tab of your editor. In this tab you find a button that opens another tab with the same information in text format that you can save.

Features

You can notarize any digital content you are editing in a Visual Studio Code tab.

Every time you run the Notarize command you execute a transaction on the Polygon blockchain. For this reason we ask you to limit this action to when you are sure that your digital content has reached a good level and you want to establish its date exactly and unequivocally.

Requirements

There are no particular requirements.
