🚀 Installation & Usage
Installation
- Install from VS Code Marketplace or download .vsix file
- Ensure Ruby 2.7+ is installed on your system
- Configure your credentials (see Configuration section)
Usage
Header Commands
- Insert Header:
Ctrl+Alt+H (Cmd+Alt+H on Mac) or right-click → "TSI Header: Insert Header"
- Update Header:
Ctrl+Alt+U (Cmd+Alt+U on Mac) or right-click → "TSI Header: Update Header"
- Command Palette:
Ctrl+Shift+P → Search for "TSI Header"
Code Generation
- Add Class: Right-click in editor → "TSI Header: Add class" (available for Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin, PHP)
- Add Code Base: Right-click in editor → "TSI Header: Add code base" (works with any file)
Configuration
The extension automatically detects credentials in this priority order:
- VS Code settings (
tsiheader.username, tsiheader.email)
- Git configuration (
git config user.name/email)
- Environment variables (
TSI_USERNAME, TSI_EMAIL)
